Background and purpose: The incidences of sexual function and benign prostatic hyperplasia(BPH) is increased by age. BPH usually has many lower urinary tract symptoms(LUTS), such as frequency of micturition, increasing dysuria, urinary incontinence and uroschesis et al. The more serious problems are the damage in function of the kidney and bladder, in the end the renal failure of solitary kidney comes. The satisfaction degree of sexuality in patients is decreased with it. The sexual function has further damage because of the use of the medicine and operation. BPH is a disease happening in eld men and affecting the patient's living qualitity. The operation provide the best methods for the treatment of prostate, transurethral electroresection of the prostate(TURP), ransurethral vaporization for prostate(TUVP), transurethral resection of the prostate(PKRP), suprapubic prostatectomy (SPPC) and modified Madigan prostatectomy(MPC) is one of the most common and effective methods in the treatment for prostate. Sexual dyfunction is one of the common syndrome after prostatectomy. Sexual dysfunction include erectile dysfunction(ED) and retrograde ejaculation(RJ) mainly.
