Angle's II~1 malocclusion is characterized by maxillary protrusion, mandible retrusion and anterior deep overjet and overbite. Among these characters, convexity of the soft tissue is one of the most important factors associated with aesthetic aspects. The skeletal characters of patients with Class II~1 malocclusion have been studied by many orthodontists, but little was known about their soft tissue, especially the nasolabial angle.The study is aim to evaluate the changes of the nasolabial angle of these patients through cephalometric measurement,to find out the correlative factors of it, to provide experimental results to help orthodontic clinic diagnosis and treatments.200 patients (100 male, 100 female) from the Orthodontic Department of the West China Stomatology College were included in our study.
