Objective: Interferons are used in the treatment of CA commonly which possess antiviral activity, immunoregulatory and antiproliferative properties, to this day,how the continuous effictiveness of IFNs is and whether IFNs can depress recurrence of CA are still lack of comparative and evaluate scientifically.This assessment was designed to evaluate the continuous effictiveness of IFNs,proved the best available choice for CA patients,offer the best evidence for clinical decision-making.Methods: We searched The Cochrane Central Register of Controlled Trials(Issue 4, 2005),MEDLINE(1950 to Dec.2005 ),EMBASE(1989 to Dec.2005),VIP(1989 to Dec.2005),CJFD(1979 to 2005),CBMdisc(1978 to 2005) and WANGFANG DATA(1977 to 2005).The bibliographies of all papers retrieved in full text form and relevant narrative reviews were searched for additional publications.All randomized controlled clinical trails(RCT) of interferon alone or in combination with other treatments compared with placebo or other treatments were included.Two reviewers independently screened the studies for eligibility,evaluated the quality and extracted the data form the eligible studies,with confirmation of cridd-check.Different opinions were consulted by the third party.Meta-analsis was done by Revman 4.2.8.If the data without heterogeneity(α>0.05)and they could be pooled using fixed effect model,and otherwise they could be solved...
