Initial Research On Thickness Of Soft Denture Liner

[Objective] The study is investigated into testing the yield strength and resilience of six groups of different soft liner / base resin thickness ratio by means of Plastice-Determination of flexural properties. According to data analyse, the purpose is to find moderate ratio of soft liner / base resin in order to providing theory evidence for clinical application.[Methods] Sixty samples with size 60.0 X25.0 X3.0 mm are divided into six groups,whose soft liner / base resin ratios are 0:3.0 , 0.5:2.5 , 1.0:2.0 , 1.5:1.5 , 2.0:1.0 , 2.5:0.5, then, tested the yield strength and resilience of eachgroups by using universal testing machine. We use spss13.0 soft to analysedata.[Results] The statistical comparision of yield strength and resilience are singnifiencant. With the thickness of soft liner increasing,the yield strength of samples are reducing,whereas the resilience enhancing. From 1.5:1.5 to 2.0:1.0,the change of yield strength and resilience has the tendency to stabilization.[Conclusions] â‘  The thickness of soft liner has better not exceed 2.0mm...
