PrefaceGastric cancer is a common malignant tumor in our country which incidence rate and mortality rate are highest in malignant tumors. Recently, people have found cellular immunity associated closely with the occurrence and the development of tumor, and studied the SIL - 2R increasingly deep -going. SIL -2R is generated by activated T cell and monocyte is formed by cellular protein hydrolysis enzyme broke down IL -2Rαchain to fragments of 42KD and enter the circulation system. It has been used many clinical fields rapidly since 1985 when it was found. IL -2R exists mainly of two forms, mIL -2R upon cellular membrane and SIL -2R in blood. Both can combine with IL -2. The affinities is different (mIL - 2R > SIL - 2R) . But the effects are different . IL - 2 combined with mIL -2R activate T cell and make T cell bring into play normal immune function, but decrease the density of free IL - 2, and interrupt the combination IL-2 and mIL -2R, thereby bring into play the inhibition function of immune. SIL -2R is the composition of α chain in IL -2R, and the expression adjustment and controlment in the functional elaboration of IL - 2/IL — 2R system have an important significance, it can be as a new effective activate norm of lymphatic cell in body. The research is to study SIL - 2R for patients of gastric cancer and benign tumor, as well as for the pathologic stage, pathologic differentiation and the change before and after surgery, to understand cellular immune state of patients of gastric cancer, to provide a new foundation for diagnosis, judgement on prognosis and cure.
