The Visual Field Ananlyses In Primary Open Angle Glaucoma With High Myopia

Objective: To find whether the visual field changes are different between primary open angle glaucoma(POAG) with high myopia and POAG without it.And to evaluate the relationship between damage of visual field and retinal nerve fibre layer(RNFL) thickness.Methods: The static central visual fields were tested by Humphrey 750 automated campimeter in 17 cases(21 eyes) of POAG with high myopia and 16 cases(17 eyes) of POAG with non-high myopia and 20 cases(25 eyes) of high myopia and 17 cases(19 eyes)of normality. And thickness of RNFL was measured by optical coherent tomography (OCT).The characteristic of visual field among four groups of cases were compaired in total, deviation probability maps;mean deviation(MD) and pattern standard deviation(PSD) and threshold summation in upper side and lower side and nose side and temporal side among four groups of cases were compaired ;thickness of RNFL in upper side and lower side and nose side and temporal side among four groups of cases were compaired;the relationship between damage of visual field and retinal nerve fibre layer thickness in every quadrant of every group was analyzed.Results: The general reduction of sensitivity of POAG with high myopia in total deviation probability map was more than that of POAG without high myopia and the early visual field defect of POAG was shown in pattern deviation probability map of POAG with high myopia.And MD of POAG with high myopia was more than that of others.The difference of PSD and threshold summation between POAG with high myopia and others had significant difference.The threshold summation in nose side...
