Use descriptive toxicology to Systemic study eye toxicity of tetrandrine,find toxic dosage, toxic reaction,target tissue,ascertain safety scope,judge the reversibility.This study will benefit to using tetrandrine more safely and effectively.Part one filtrate endurable concentration and toxic concentration Objective: Primary elect endurable concentration and toxic concentration.Methods:eight New Zealand white rabbits were randomly divided in- to A group(use 0.025%Tet in left eye, 0.05% in right eye),B group( 0.1% in left eye, 0.2% in right eye), C group( 0.4% in left eye, 0.8% in right eye), D group( 1.6% in left eye) ,given Tet for 2 month to filtrate endur- able concentration and toxic concentration through irritation experiment and Slit Lamp Microscope examine .Results: 1. 0.025%,0.05%,0.1%,0.2%,0.4%Tet has no irritation for 7 days medication, while 0.8% has mild irritation, 1.6%has moderate irritation;2. 0.025%,0.05%,0.1%,0.2%Tet has no significant toxic reaction for 2 months medication, while 0.4%,0.8%,1.6%Tet cause...
