| Cell Culture And Morphology In BIU-87 And BIU-87/ADM Being Affected By TetrandrineAbstract ObjectivecTo observe the growth of BIU-87 and BIU-87/ADM cells, andmorphology after affecting by tetrandrine. Methods: Phase contrast microscope, MTT assay and transmissionelectron microscope were used in the experiment. Results: Growth suppression and apoptosis were found in the BIU-87 and BIU-87/ADM cells after intervention by tetrandrine. Their growth suppression curve were coincidence, and apoptotic body being seen in the cells with transmission electron microscope.Conclutions: Tetrandrine can suppress the growth of BIU-87 and BIU-87/ADM cells , induce the apoptosis. The cells did not have drug resistance against tetrandrine.
