Objective:To observe the correlation between serum levels of adiponectin, amylin and islets B-cell function, differentiation of symptoms and signs for classification of syndrome in T2DM.Methods:Fasting serum levels of adiponectin, amylin were detected by enzymelinked immunosorbent assay(ELISA).Fasting blood glucose and serum insulin were detectded, insulin sensitivity index(Homa-IR)was calculated, areas under curve (AUC) of insulin, Fasting plasma lipid, height,weight,and body index were also measured.Results:1.The serum amylin level in T2DM insulin resist group was obvious higher than non- insulin resist T2DM and normal control group(P<0.01).There wasn't obvious difference between non- insulin resist T2DM group and normal control group on serum amylin level (P>0.05). The areas under curve (AUC) of insulin get little with the progress.The correlation analysis results showed that: serum amylin level had positive correlation with body index, Fasting blood insulin, blood triglyceride, insulin sensitivity index(Homa-IR),and areas under curve (AUC) of insulin (P<0.01).2.The serum adiponectin levels in insulin resist and non-insulin resist T2DM(type 2 diabetes mellitus) patients were both lower than normal control groups (P<0.01),There was difference between insulin resist T2DM groups and non- insulin resist T2DM groups on serum adiponectin level(P<0.05);There wasn't obvious difference between the serum adiponectin andcorrelation with the areas under curve (AUC) of insulin(P>0.05) .The correlation analysis results showed that: serum adiponectin level had negative correlation with body index, Fasting blood glucose, blood triglyceride, insulin sensitivity index...
