The insomnia is one of the clinical and common symptoms, it can be seen in many kinds of diseases. It influences people's normal life , work , study and health, and can aggravate or bring out some diseases, such as palpitation, thoracic obstruction , dizzy , headache , apoplexy ,etc. if you have not enough sleep .Although there are many researches which report about the insomnia at present, the studies are not deep enough. I inherit forefathers' experience, set out from the relevant argumentation of the classical books, and combine the etiopathogenisis and pathogenesis of insomnia patients and divide into 11 types.This research carries on recording and analyzing the insomnia patient through the measuring scale of sleep. Scale A measure the quality of sleep, Scale B is used to inquest the symptoms and case history of insomnia . including headache, dizzy, forgettery, aprosexia, dry of orbit, palpitation, restlessness, gas pain in chest and flank, fatigued and weak, bitter taste of mouth, chest distress, short breath, sore waist, ademosyne, abdominal distension, night sweat .etc..Every symptom is divided into four level ,none, light, middle, heavy. Scale B is used to record the associated sigh of patient,including lusterless complexion, pallidness of orbit, palpebral tremor.etc. Every sigh is also divided into four level.
