The Study Of Theory And Clinic About The Relativity Between Stagnation Of Liver-energy And Dementia

Objective:Discuss the relativity of stagnation of liver-energy and dementia, investi- gate the proportion of stagnation of liver-energy in dementia,observe the therapeutic effect of soothing the liver in the treatment of dementia.Methods:1.Clinical investigation: Collected dementia patients involving Alzheimer's Disease and Vascular Dementia which come from neuromedicine of Qi Lu Hospital,Sheng Li Hospital,Traffic Hospital and The Fourth Hospital of people.All the patients were diagnosed according to the diagnostic criterion of Traditional Chinese diagnostics and analyzed the proportion of stagnation of liver-energy in dementia.2.Clinical trial:All the patients were randomly divided into therapy group and control group,the differences between the two groups,such as age,sex,culture level,course and degree,didn't have statistical significance.The therapy group were treated with Traditional Chinese medicine and the control group were treated with medicine,15 days is a period of treatment.After two months'continuously treating,assessed the clinical effect and observed the effective guide line.Results:1.Clinical investigation: All the data of 157 patients were collected,62 patients(39.49%) belong to stagnation of liver-energy.The other patients didn't have clear stagnation of liver-energy syndrome when they were investigated,but they have ever had stagnation of liver-energy symptom during the course of the disease,such as blood retention due to phlegm stagnation(4),intense heat in both heart and liver(1),mental disturbance due to phlegm-fire(1),deficiency of liver-yin and kidney-yin(3),qi and blood deficiency in heart and spleen(2).It total up to 11. 2.Clinical trial:The scores changes of MMSE,HDS,ADL and the main clinical syndrome in therapy group have statistical significance.The scores changes in MMSE,HDS and stagnation of liver-energy syndrome between therapy group and control group have statistical significance.
