Objective: To research into the mechanism of the protect role induced by preventive application of artificial synthesized E-selectin in rat cerebral ischemia-reperfusion injury.Methods: 90 male SD rats weighed 280-320g were randomly divided into the three groups: (1)sham-operation group, (2) ischemia-reperfusion group, (3) artificial synthesized E-selectin treated group, 30 rats a group . The focal cerebral ischemia-reperfusion models of middle cerebral artery occlusion(MCAO) were made by refering Longa's method. 5 minites before building the models at artificial synthesized E-selectin treated group, E-selectin(10mg/kg) were injected into femoral vein . At different times(2h,6h,12h,24h,48h,72h after reperfusion), phlebotomizing from the heart, mensurateing the content of IL-1β,TNF-αof plasma by the method of ELISA. Then the rats were killed and their brains were excluded, sections were made, and the pathomorphological changes of the neurons in the ischemia-reperfusion area were observed by light microscope and electron microscope.Results: The IL-β,TNF-αcontent of plasma of ischemia-reperfusion...
