BackgroundIn summary, Cancer is a kind of fatal and harmful disease, its incidence and mortality rates are rising. But its pathogenesis and prognosis are still not very clear. Some researches have shown that cell apoptosis is related to the oncogenesis and development intimately, and apoptosis is one of the growth accelerating factors for tumor cell. There are many apoptotic factors involved have been discovered, BAG-1 is one of these factors, which is encoded by a kind of anti-apoptosis gene and has multifunctions include anti-apoptosis. Its anti-apoptotic ability is enhanced after binding to Bcl-2 and forming a complex. It expresses in many different kinds of cancer. But the role of BAG-1 in oncogenesis, the relations between BAG-1 and bionomics of neoplasm, and the prognostic correlation are still not very clear. Whether it can be considered as a predictive biomarker for the early diagnosis of cancer and whether it is useful in assessment of prognosis of cancer are still elusive. Therefore, the further research for these problems is essential. Objective: 1. To detect expression of BAG-1 in several cancer in tissue microarray and evaluate its clinical significance in breast cancer. Methods: 1. The expression of BAG-1 were detected by...
