Background: Modern medicine has focus on chronic disease .Asthma is a most common chronic illness in childhood. The increasing prevalence of asthma in children has become a major worldwide public health problem in recent decades. Of chronic diseases, asthma remains an important cause of absence from school for children and absence from work for their parents. It also influences mental growth for children ,and the influences will be lasted when they grow up. Asthma produces a substantial economic burden, including both direct and indirect costs. Despite a considerable literature on risk factors for asthma onset and severity in children , very little is known about possible influences, particularly how these factors interact with asthma. The recent studies have identified multiple risk factors for the development and progression of the asthma. As a result, much research is focused on identifying univariate that can be initiated at asthma and prevent disease progression. Asthma is a complex disease with a strong heritable component and multiple environmental influences and immunological influences and psychological influences and the other influences. However, seldom studies have done in asthma for multivariable risk factors . The objective of this study was to determine the relationship with multivariable risk factors and asthma.Objective: To explore risk factors for asthma in children including genetic factors( include family history and atopy), acute respiratory infections, passive smoking, psychology, diet etal ,and to provide evidence for preventing children's asthma, so as to shed light on the clinic practice.
