Background and objective : Ovary is an important organ for female in charge of reproduction and endocrining. It will seriously impact the female physically and mentally if ovarian function is compromised.. There are many situations may result in premature ovarian failure (POF) such as genetic disease, endometriosis, chemotherapy or radiotherapy for malignant disease and oophorectomy for various reasons. Nowadays, the only therapeutic method for POF is traditional hormone replacement therapy (HRT). Exogenic estrogen is not released physiologically in body, thus result in such adverse reaction as stroke, heart episodes and mammary adenocarcinoma, endometrial cancer. Because it can restore the function of reproduction and endocrining and can avoid the adverse reaction of HRT, the technology of ovarian transplantation caused more and more attention. The technology of ovarian transplantation started in 19 century and it can be divided into heterogenic transplantation, autoplastic transplantation and allotransplantation. The advantage of heterogenic transplantation is that donator is easily available whereas the disadvantage is the fierce and rapid immunological rejection which limited the experimental study. Ovarian allotransplantation with vascular inosculated is limited with donator source, ischemia time and reperfusion injury. Now in most study of ovarian transplantation adult and newborn rats was adopted as the graft donator. Allotransplantation is confronted with the question of immunological rejection. In the 1990s, the development of cyropreservation technique and transplantation immunology promoted the study of allotransplantation, whereas the costly immunosuppressant and its toxicity as well as its adverse reaction limited its clinical application. How to find a new method to resolve above questions is the focus of experimental study. It had been investigated that fetal organ used in transplantation had advantage over adult ones. Fetal cell has greater potential to differentiating and establishing functional affiliation with other tissue. On the other hand ,it can produce high concentration vasculargenic and neurogenic factors which are benefit to its survival. What's more, the expression of histocompatibility antigen in fetal tissue is...
