| Object:This thesis discusses ancient and modern doctors' witting on diabetic nephropathy. We made the model of diabetic rats by STZ with high-energyfood.Method:We study some items as glucose-metabolism, fat metabolism, glycol hemoglobin, insulin level and white protein in urine, β2-globin protein and so on by using modern media and methods as biochemistry , optical microscope , electronic microscope , radio-immunology. We also observe the kidneys' pathological changes of diabetic rats and the changes of AngⅡ , We study the mechanism of SHENXIAOKANG.Results:Firstly,SHENXIAOKANG play better role in decreasing glucose and fat in blood, urinary protein, reducing unenzyme-glycosylation and regulating the insulin level.Secondly, SHENXIAOKANG can lessen thickened glomerular capillary basement membrane and condition of vacuolar degeneration of renal tubular epithelial cells. Thirdly, SHENXIAOKANG Can regulate significantly the amount of AngⅡ in diabetic rats serum.The results above not only explain therapy mechanism of SHENXIAOKANG , but also provide experimental basis of Traditional Chinese Medicine preventing and treating diabetic retinopathy.
