| Objectives: With the therapy of Jian Pi He Wei decoction on treating functional dyspepsia, and observe the clinical curative effect.Methods: 60 cases of QI deficiency of spleen and stomach type FD, divided into two groups. One was the observing group: 30 cases treated with Jian Pi He Wei decoction, the other was the control group: 30 cases treated with Ma Ding Lin. Course of treatment was one week. Evaluate the curative effect according to the changes of the clinical symptom and Syndromes of Traditional Chinese Medicine before and after treatment.Results: (1) The total curative effect and syndromes of Traditional Chinese medicine had prominent differences (p<0.05), the observing group was superior to the control group. (2) The observing group, which is distinctly superior to the control group in improving the curative effect and reducing the points of symptom, two remarkable differences exist.(p<0.01 or p<0.05). (3) These two groups had no obvious influence in blood, urine, evacuation of bowels, function of live and kidney.Conclusion: Jian Pi He Wei decoction could obviously improve the clinical symptom FD belongs to type QI deficiency of spleen and stomach, the curative effect is superior to the control group.
