Study On Chemical Constituents In The Aerialparts Of Bupleurum Chinese DC.

Bupleurum Chinese DC. is the plant belonging to Bupleurum L. ,which is the traditional Chinese Medicine and has been used in clinical long and widespread. The tast and property of the herb is bitter and slightly cold .It can be used in fever due to common cold , alternate attack of chill and fever, chest and hypochondrium, irregular menses, prolapse of uterusand and archoptoma because it has effects of compromise interior and exterior,disperse the depressed liver-energy and invigorating splenic yang recorded in Pharmacopoeia of the People's Republic of China.the herb distributing in the northeast,the Northern China,the northwest,the Central China and the Eastern China grows in the sun side ,the roadside ,the bank or the grass and produces mainly in Hebei,Shanxi and Gansu et.provinces.Now the herb has been planted in many place.The article carries out the systematical reseach of the chemical constituent from the aerial parts of Bupleurum Chinese DC. and summarizes the chemical constituent,the pharmacologic action and the clinical application of the herb.The experiment was carried out using the column chromatography and HPLC techniques, 11 compounds have been isolated from the herb of aerial parts ,of which 7 structures have been identified including 4 flavonoids,2 sesquiterpenes and 1 alkaloids.In the 7 compounds , 2 sesquiterpenes and 1 alkaloids has been definited as the new compounds and 3 flavonoids is found firstly in the herb.The 3 new compounds is named as Chaihuxinoside A,Chaihuxinoside B and Chaihuxinoside C.For expanding,reasonablly exploitationing and utilizing the resource of Bupleurum Chinese DC,the article provides significant scientific evidence through the systematical reseach of thechemical constituent of the aerial parts of the herb.
