Objective:With the development of industry and traffic, the distal radius fractures was not the simple fracture like it was before .The fractures were comminuted with high energy .And the patients became yonger than ever. For these patients, the conservative treatment usually leaded to some complications such as traumatic arthritis, limitated motion of the wrist, pain of the wrist,et al,which would influenced their work and daily life. With the improvement of the peoples life , the therapy of distal radius fractures was increasingly subjected to higher demands on functional results. Most of the scholars believed that the good result based on the anatomical reduction and early exercise. The bridging external fixation was a good method in treating the distal radius fractures,it was simple and stable. The procedure of operation was minimally invasive to the soft tissue. In addition, removing the device was easy after fracture healing without the need for anesthesia. Therefore, it was a very common method in treating unstable distal radial fractures. But complications from misplacement of the bone-transfixing threaded pins did occur. The superficial branch of the radial nerves, the extensor tendons were the structures at greatest rist. At what place the Schanz screws shoud be inserted to prevent...
