Effect Oberservation Of Lumbar Disc Herniation Treated By TCM Discrimination Combining Surgery

Objective : We do follow-up research about the Lumbar Disc Herniation patients who had surgery treatment from 2002 to 2005 in our hospital and analyze the conclusion statistically in order to explore the effect of Lumbar Disc Herniation treated by TCM discrimination combining surgery, to offer the reference for the clinical treatment finally.Method: We select 106 out-patients who can cooperate and complete the follow-up , and divide them into three groups refer to TCM illness diagnosis effect standard framed by the national TCM and herb administer bureau : liver and kidney deficiency group;gas stagnant and gore group;cold and humid group. We make a record of pre-operative and post-operative score and calculate the treatment improvement rate analyzed statistically separately according to JOA lumbago illness treatment achievement assessment standard table.Result: There are 67 patients who had outstanding improvement rate, account for 65. 09% among the follow-up 106 patients, overall choiceness rate is 100%. liver and kidney deficiency group have the best average improvement rate: 81. 30%, gas stagnant and gore group 77. 33%, however cold and humid group70. 99% among the three discriminations. The treatment improvement rate have diversitymarkedly (P<0. 05).Conclusion: TCM discrimination combining surgery have good treatmenteffect of Lumbar Disc Herniation and is worthy of being spread and studied. Lumbar Disc Herniation traditional posterior window operation have merits such as small cut, rapid recovery , good effect, however the future effect and complication is still need to be studied over a long period of time.
