Clinical Study Of "Yi Fa" Compound Prescription In The Treatment Of Androgenetic Alopecia(AGA) And The Effect On The Growth Of SD Rats Papilla Cells In Vitro

Objective:To investigate the clinical effect of Chinese drug compound "yifa" in treating Androgenetic alopecia and the influence on the DHT and DHEA in serum。 Afterwards we succeeded in establishing the cultivation of papilla cells in vitro, and investigated the influenee of Chinese drug compound "yifa" on the papilla cells . First to investigate the mechanism of "yifa " compound from the molecular level. Methods:In the clinical part, I select 40 AGA patients, then give them "yifa" compound to eat for 6 months , at the same time, select 15 healthy controls, surving their DHT and DHEA before and after the treatment three months and 6 months respectively .In the experimental part, use the rats papilla cells as the model, preparing different consistence of rats serum containing medicine , protracting the curse of growth using the MTT colorimetric assay. Results:In the clinical part, the level of DHT is markly higher than those of healthy controls(p<0.05),After treating ,the DHT in serum decreased markedly(p<0.05) compared with those before treating. Although the DHEA is in normal value , But the level of most of them are close to the upperlimit(p<0. 05)o At the same time , the hairs of patients were markedly decresing failed off, and the sebaceous gland excretion was also inhabitatedoIn the experimental part, results showed that the high consisitence of medicated serum is higher than the blank significantly at the logarithm growing period , but lower at the stationary phase. The serum containing Chinese drug compound "yifa" can advance proliferation obviously. We also observe that the drug—containing serum can promoting theagglomerate growth of papilla cells. Conclusion:In line with the standpoint of inheriting and developing the theory of traditional Chinese medical science, we evaluated clinical effect of "yi fa" compound prescription. Moreover we put the recipe into the medium where human scalp hair follicles were cultured in vitro for the first time and made preliminary investigation on the the mechanism of action by molecular biology. The results we obtained not only provided scientific foundation for treating AGA with TCM, but also offered method and way to study the trichogen of TCM in future.
