Objective To study composition and diversity of acaroid mites community in stored food, and survey epidemic condition of intestinal acariasis in crowd who engagaed in processing and storing food and species of acaroid mites. Methods Acaroid mites were isolated by Tullgren and Waterflotation , identified and counted under microscope. The richness, diversity and evenness of species were calculated by Margalef index, Shannon-Wiener index and Pielou index. The condition of intestinal acariasis in special crowd was sieved by case history, stool examination, total IgE and specific IgE of mites detection in serum. Results 1440 samples were collected, and 695 samples of 45 stored food were polluted by acaroid mites. The density of acaroid mites was 5.553±2.358No./g. The polluted stored food included 20 kinds of dry fruit, 10 kinds of stored flavoring, 10 kinds of stored seafood, 5 kinds of sweetmeats. The positive rate of mites was 48.3% (695/1440) in stored food, 55.4% (306/552) in stored dry fruit, 43.9% (158/360) in stored flavoring, 35.8% (129/360) in stored seafood, 60.7% (102/168) in sweetmeats. These mites colleted represented 23 species, belonging to 18 genus, 7 families of the acaridae. The result of diversity analysis showed that the values of the species richness index (Margalef index) raged from 0.383 to 2.476, which was highest in August; the species diversity index (Shannon-Wiener index) ranged from 0.926 to 3.075, which was highest in Augest; and the species evenness index (Pielou index) ranged from 0.752 to 0.981, which was highest in August and September. Community parameter of acaroid mites was different in various stored food, Rmargalef and H' of stored dried food were highest, and J of stored flavoring was highest. It showed that 18 subjects were mite-positive, the detection rate being 6.2% (18/289) in 289 subjects detected by stool examination. And only 3 subjects were single mite-positive. For mites detected, 6 species had been found, such as Acarus siro, Tyrophagus putrescentiae, Dermatophagoid.es farinae, Glycyphagus domesticus, Glycyphagus ornatus and Carpoglyphus lactis. The levels of total IgE and specific IgE of acaroid mites were (86±24)IU/mL和(69±19) IU/mL, and higher in the positive patients than those in negative patients(t=7.569, P<0.01; ☆t=8.009, P<0.01).
