The study of milk's nutrition has been regarded by nutritional scholars all along, especially the study of protein and calcium in milk. Former researches show that protein and calcium in milk are very important to body health, protein can promote function of immunity and body nutritional status , simultaneously calcium have an ability to prevent some nutrition-related diseases such as osteoporosis.[Objective] By 3-generation drinking milk, to observe the effects onnutritional status of protein and calcium in BALB/c mice, and accumulate nutritional evidences to solve the problem of drinking milk.[Methods] 40 4-week-old SPF BALB/c mice were divided into two groups randomly:trial group and control group. Parental (P) generation mice in trial group and in control group had been maintained on a diet containing milk and de-ionized water for 6 weeks respectively before mating, then repeated the above steps to gained filial 1(F1) and filial 2(F2) generation, finally hemoglobin , transferrin ,albumin, prealbumin, total protein, bone alkaline phosphatase, serum calcium , alkaline phosphatase, bone gla protein, femoral length, thighbone weight, bone ash weight, calcium of bone and bone mineral density were determined after all mice were killed.
