Objective:To discuss the effects of different dialysis frequencies on the nutritionalstatus and calcium-phosphorus metabolism in maintenance hemodialysis patients. Methods:The medical records and associated data of 67 patients cases at older than 18 years of age and older than 1 years of dialysis age in our blood purificationcenter, which came from January 2012 to December 2013. Dialyser used Fx60 polysulfone membranes. Every time of dialysis last 4 hours. All patients were divided into 3groups by different dialysis frequencies.Patients in group A dialysed 4 times per week include 9 cases of male and 7 cases of female.Patients in group B dialysed 3 times per week include 13 cases of male and 14 cases of female.Patients in group C dialysed 2 times per week include 11 cases of male and 13 cases of female. All patients take the blood pressure medication, erythropoietin, iron Prep, calcium and the activated vitamin D3 according to the guide. To investigate the index of baseline and 1 year after dialysis of each groppatients, such as, weight, height, albmin (ALB), prealbumin (PA), hemoglobin (HGB), sermcreatitine (Scr), urea nitrogen (BUN), calcium (Ca), phosphorus (P), parathyroid hormo-e (PTH), serum ferritin (Fer), ultrafiltration flow rate. And to calculate the index of body mass index (BMI), calcium-phosphorus product, Urea clearance index (Kt/v) and glomerularfiltrationrate (eGFR). Results:All indexesin group of A, B and C are no statistical significance (P>0.05). After dialysed for 1 year the indexes include ALB, PA, HGB, Scr, BUN, Ca, PTH, P, CRP, eGFR are statistical significance (P<0.05). The indexes include weight, BMI, calcium-phosphorus product, Fer, Kt/v are no statistical significance (P>0.05). There is statistical significance between group A and C on weight, ALB, PA, HGB, Scr, BUN, CRP, Ca, P, PTH, eGRF (P<0.05). The indexes include BMI, calcium-phosphorus product, Fer, Kt/v are no statistical significance (P> 0.05).There is also statistical significance between group B and C on ALB, PA, HGB, Scr, Ca, P, PTH, CRP (P< 0.05). The indexes include weight, BUN, BM, calcium-phosphorus product, Fer, Kt/v, eGRF are no statistical significance (P>0.05). There isno statistical significance between group A and B on any index (P>0.05).Conclusion:The nutritional status and calcium-phosphorus metabolism of the maintenance hemodialysis patients of the dialysis 3~4times every week is better than the dialysis twice aweek. The defference between the 4times dialysis and the 3times dialysis every week is a little. So it is important clinical significance to guarantee threetimes dialysis a week in improving the nutritional status and calcium-phosphorus metabolism status for maintenancehemodialysis patients.
