Objective: 1.To study the effect of neurofeedback in the assistive treatment of general anxiety disorder;2.To investigate the relationship between effect and age, education and the course of diseases;3.To investigate the effect between different methods of neurofeedback training, so that we can chose the method base on the state of illness;4.To investigate the numerical value range of neurofeedback parameter, and to investigate the relationship between effect and the neurofeedback parameter.Subjects and Methods: 159 patients were received , 8 patients were divided into a group which accept instrument treatment only. The other 151 patients were randomly divided into test group (71 cases), drug treatment group (64 cases), and placebo group (16 cases ),they all accepted four weeks drug treatment with paroxetine. The test group were randomly divided into three groups, each group accept a kind of neurofeedback training, the training were carried 8 times in 4 weeks. The placebo group accepted 8 times mimical training within 4 weeks. The HAMA and HAMD tests were employed every week for assessing the treatment effectiveness. The parameter of neurofeedback were recorded after the training in the test group and the instrument group.
