Background:Acute pancreatitis(AP) is one of acute abdomen with high severity and high mortality. And it is also one of those deseases which easily complicate with multiple organ dysfunction syndrome(MODS). SAP influences not only pancreas, but also such distant organs as liver, lung, kidney, and so on. Liver is one of main involved organs. When SAP aggravates, hepatic failure will probably happen. Once hepatic failure happens, death will easily occur.
