Etiology Diagnosis And Bacterial Spectrum Analysis Of Children Ventilator-Associated Pneumonia

Objective: To investigate etiology diagnosis,diagnosis methods,bacterial spectrum and related etiological factors in children ventilator-associated pneumonia.Methods: 1. The data of specimens for bacterial culture (included blood, respirator secretions, urine, purulent secretions) during 2002 in our hospital were analyzed. 2. The data of specimens for bacterial culture isolated from 85 children with mechanical ventilator were analyzed and among them 32 cases used two kinds of methods to obtain sputum specimens at the same time for comparison. One was to use BAL technology, the other was to collect secretions from the deep intubation tube. 3. The culture result of Pseudomonas aeruginosa by two kinds of collection methods were analyzed by plasmid spectrum to judge their homogeneity.Results: 1.
