[Object i ve] : To observe the correlation between the Daibetic Nephropathy kidney-yin deficiency and ET-1.To research the objectivity diagnosis guideline of the kidney-Yin deficiency. To do some work for diagnosis, standardization, and norm as well. [Method] : Utilizing the method of combination for syndrome and disease, selecting the patients of the Daibetic Nephropathy kidney- yin deficiency as the research groups , the Daibetic Nephropathy kidney patients of Kindey-Yang deficiency and normal person as comparisonal groups.We measured amount of ET-1 through the radioimmunoassay. We Analysed the difference between two syndromes and normals. At the same time, the syndromes, Which were included both in kidney- yin deficiency and the kidney-yang deficiency, were observed for quantification,finally, each item were accumulated to get a totle number, that is, its syndrome integral calculus, We carried on the related analysis of straight line between the integral calculus of the level of ET-1. In order to observe whether there were correlation between them or not , what's more , to get correlation degree.[Result]:The level of ET-1 of the patients of Daibetic Nephropathy Kidney-Yin deficiency significantly higher than that of the Daibetic Nephropathy patients of Kidney-Yang deficiency and normals (each was p<0.01). The level of ET-1 of the Daibetic Nephropathy patients of Kidney-Yang deficiency significantly higher than normals (p<0.05). The level of ET-1 was positively correlated with the integral calculus degree of the Daibetic Nephropathy Kidney-Yin deficiency (r=0.76, p<0.05); The level of ET-1 was negatively correlated with the integral calculus of Daibetic Nephropathy Kidney-Yang deficiency(r=-0.83, p<0.05);and the level of ET-1 was no correlated with ages and illness course.[Conclusion] :The level of ET-1 can be used as an important reference of the diagnosis of the Kidney-Yin deficiency and the Kidney-Yang deficiency.
