A Study On Xu-Shi Pathogenesis And Calculated Diagnostics For Qixu Syndrome Of Stroke Disease

In order to discover the evolvement process of Xu-Shi pathogenesis of stroke,459 case histories from Ming and Qing Dynasty to neoteric times were collected,analyzed and with statisticated. Then testified the reseach result through sdudying and statisticating 189 clinical stroke patiets, analyzed the main symptoms and signs of Qixu Syndome and in order to find out a calculated diagnostic method for Qixu Syndome.Result:Distinct Benxu usually exists in stroke patiets;Qixu is one of the important ingredients of Benxu.Xieshi is more remarkable in the emergent period and Qixu is due to the formation as well as the aggravation of phlegm and gore.Different stages,gender,labor forms affect the ratio between Qixu and non-Qixu,but stroke type(ischemic stroke or haemorrhagic one) and age(only for the ones over 40 years old) stages have not effects on the ratio. Spirit cachexia and other 8 symptoms and signs are quite meaningful to the differential/diagnosis of Qixu Syndrome.The 9 symptoms and signs are(with their diagnostic index): spirit cachexia 10 pionts; lusterless facial complexion 10 points;always like lying 8 points;more lenis voice or respiration 7 points;looser,cooler,sweaty or more meticulous,cooler, sweaty skin 7 points;fat tongue with or without teeth moulage on its edge 7 points;washy stool 6 points;fat 5 points;pulse weak,faint,soft,sunken 4 points.
