A Study On The Concept Maps In The Teaching Of Medical Genetics In Medical School

With the rapid enrichment of knowledge, how to improve the efficiency and result of study has been the hot issue of education reform now. "How to learn" seems to be more important than "What to learn." Conception maps are the cognition means that can display knowledge. At the same time, it can check knowledge, correct knowledge, and improve the contents of knowledge. It may arrange some kinds of conceptions of knowledge and relations. This sort of arrangement's function is like the layer structure of human brain to store knowledge and information. It clearly reveals that is the essence of meaning structure.This paper analyzed conception maps present condition of research in domestic and abroad. And I use some achievements of other subject research for reference in this paper, then combining the students' present condition with the course of medical genetics in school. At the same time, we can applied conception maps to teaching practice, students' learning and evaluation for students. In this paper, I have advanced apply strategy of conception maps in medical genetics teaching and studying. At last, I did some experiment research in order to verify the efficiency of conception maps in medical genetics teaching and studying. The contrast experiment lasted for half a year to students from two nurse classes in Chu Xiong Medical School. The result indicated that the conception maps made great affection for improving the efficiency of medical genetics teaching and studying. It also efficiently brings about a great advance in learning to study of students, developing the ability to solve problems and the cooperation teaching and studying. The conception maps are worth spreading in teaching and studying.
