Objective To study the expression of Ang-2 and VEGF in hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC), and its relationship with angiogenesis, invasion and prognosis of HCC.Methods The expression of Ang-2 and VEGF in HCC were determined by immunohistochemistry staining, and the MVD of tumor was evaluated through immunohistochemistry staining of CD34.Results The expression of Ang-2 in HCC was significant correlated with pathological stage and invasion of portal vein(p<0.05). MVD of HCC was obviously up-regulated when VEGF and Ang-2 simultaneously expressed positive; and followed by poor prognosis(p<0.05).Conclusion Expression of Ang-2 and VEGF simultaneously could induce angiogenesis of HCC, and had obvious relation with the invasion ,malignancy and prognosis of HCC.
