| Objective To analyse the insulin risistance(IR),glucose and lipid metabolism in patients with nonalcoholic fatty liver disease(NAFLD) Methods Body mass index(BMI),waist circumference(WC),waist -to–hip rate(WHR),blood press, liver fuction,triglycerin(TG),low-density lipoprotein(LDL),high- density lipoprotein(HDL),fasting plasma glucose and insulin(FPG,FINS),postprandial plasma glucose and insulin(2hPG,2hINS)were determined in 137 fatty liver patients(diagnosed by B ultrasonic echograph)and 50 normal control subjects. Homeostasis model assessment insulin resistance index(HOMA-IR) was applied to status of insulin resistance. Results (1) The BMI,WC,WHR,TG,LDL,FINS in the fatty liver patients were significantly higher than those in the controls, HDL were lower, P<0.01 for all.(2) HOMA-IR in the fatty liver patients were relevant to the degree of the fatty liver(diagnosed by B ultrasonic echograph),P<0.01。(3) The FINS,2hINS,HOMA-IR in the fatty liver patients were significantly higher than those in the controls,P<0.001。(4)Among the fatty liver, the FPG,FINS,2hPG,2 hINS,HOMA-IR in the non-obesity were same as those in obesity,P>0.05。Conclusion (1)Hyperinsulinemia,abnormal glucose and lipide metabolism were significant in the patients with NAFLD。(2)HOMA-IR in the nonalcoholic fatty liver patients were relevant to the degree of the fatty liver(diagnosed by B ultrasonic echograph),with the increase in HOMA-IR, the overall prevalence of severity fatty liver increased gradually。(3)The hyperinsulinemia and IR in the non-obesity nonalcoholic fatty liver patients were same as those in the obesity nonalcoholic fatty liver patients。... |
