| Part â… Literature Review and StudyWe studied the knowledge of Modern Medicine and Traditional Chinese Medicine(TCM) to primary carcinoma of the liver. Then we discussed the basic and significance of the research.Part â…¡ Clinical StudyObjective:To obsever the therapeutic efficacy of Arsenious Acid Injection in treating medium or late stage primary carcinoma of the liver. Methods:62 patients with stage Ⅱ—Ⅲ primary carcinoma of the liver were divided randomly into two groups.In Group A(as a treated group), 32 patients were treated with Arsenious Acid Injection alone. In Group B(as a controlled group), 30 patients were treated with Sodium Cantharidinate and Vitamin B6 Injection alone. The therapeutic efficancy of the two groups were evaluated after one course of treatment.Results:The Group A had a better effect in the remission of symptoms such as ache in liver than Group B (P<0. 05) . There is no significant difference between Group A and Group B in the remission of symptoms such as pyrexia, meteorism, anorexia, fatigue(P>0. 05). Two groups have significant difference in stabilize the tumor (P<0.05). Furthermore, comparing with the control group the alterations of ALT> AST and ALB had statistical difference (P<0. 05);There was significant difference in decreasing the AFP and AFU between the treated and the controlled group (P<0. 05). Group A had a better effect of increasing the weight and the Karnofsky score than Group B(P<0. 05). In addition, Arsenious Acid Injection had some adverse reactiont, such as decreasing WBC(7 case 21. 9 %), NEU(4 case 12.5%), HGB (5 case 15. 6%) and PLT (2 case 6%), constipation (1 case 3.1%) , meteorism (6 case 18. 8%) , tetter (1 case 3.1%) . Alll the adverse reactions could disappear or alleviate after they were dealed with.these symptoms had no effection on continuing therapy and can reverseafter stoping the drug.Conclusion: The Arsenious Acid Injection could alleviate symptoms, stabilizethe tumor, decrease the AFP and AFU, improve the quality of life, increaseweight in the medium or late stage primary carcinoma of the liver. The ArseniousAcid Injection had a better effect of cureing the medium or late stage primarycarcinoma of the liver patients than Sodium Cantharidinate and Vitamin B6Injection. |
