Nowadays, infertility has become a global reproductive problem. There is about 10 percent stetile couples every year all the world, andthis proportion still furthermore year by year. Thus, the internationalmedical science group has paid more attention to the study ininfertility. The factors to result in infertility are more, for example, thetubal factor, the ovulatory factor, the uterine factor, the cervix uterinefactor, the immunizing factor, psychologic status and so on have takendirect or indirect action on pregnancy. In the close years, the genitaltract morbility rises rapidly, and it's impact on infertility has receivedreconstruction more and more. CT and UU are the most frequentinfectious agents of the total, and they induced infertility throughmultiple mechanism. CT is a special kind of agent, and it has cell wall similar toGram-positive bacteria,DNA and RNA. It can breed sticking to hostcell. When CT invades into the body, it general grows and breeds inbeaker cell or columnar cell in the first, and then it increases inmononuclear phagocyte system in the end. ChengZhi Chen producedthe pathopoiesis of CT may be some species of lysosome secreted byCT coalesce with phagosome, then they induced the release of lysomalenzyme and produced the metabolic product of endotoxic. So it causedallergy and autoimmunity, the body had been injuried. The research ofLiLan Luo pointed out the infection of CT can produce endometritis, salpingitis and so on. The infection of CT repeatedly can cause theadherence, stiffness, obstruction of fallopian tube, and these chronicinjury can result in sterility or ectopic pregnancy. While the study ofCuiFang Hao indicated that the contents of glucose in cervical mucusafter the body infected by CT cut down, and it influenced the activityof spermatozoa in the cervical canals. And this is one of the reasonsthat cause infertility. Different opions about the infection of CTimpact on male sterile remains. Gdoura et. think about that it impactson ovum fertilization through impacting on spermatozoa ability afterthe infection of CT in male, while the infection of CT in urethra andthere is CT antibody in blood serum or not have nothing to do withinfertility. But Vigal et. think about that it does not impact onspermatozoa ability after the infection of CT, while the agenttransmits to female through sexual life and causes the latter ill. UU isanother special kind of agent between bacteria and virus. It has no cellwall and can through out filtering apparatus. It is the smallestmicro-organism that can breed in the inactivate culture medium.Zhang Shimin et. point out that the lower genitourinary tract can causeinfertility after the infection of UU through salpingemphraxis, pelviccavity adherence as well as interference fertilization induced by partlyinflammation, oedema or ascending infection. And it may induce theinjury of genital tract immunologic barrier, then produce partial orsystematical immune reaction. In the end it causes infertility throughproducing antisperm antibody or provoke the transform of cell factor. The research of YanPing Li indicates that the infection of UU maycause cervical erosion, the increasing of secretion, and it can resultin infertility because of it is difficulty that spermatozoa through outthe cervix uteri through changing the PH of cervical mucus. The studyof Chen Xu et. on the male infertility found that there were UU in thespermatogenic cells came from sperm and the spermatogenic cellswalls disintegrated. The appearance of their sperm who had theinfection of UU in their sperm or succus prostaticus was abnormal. They found that the density of their sperm decreased, the abilityslowed dowm, and the deformity increased. They also found that theleucocyte in their succus prostaticus increased, and the lecithin amongthem decreased. This article investigated the genital tract infection state of CT andUU in sterile couples, and the 527 couples among child-bearing periodwere found because of infertility at out-patient clinic in reproductivecenter of Jilin University'preclinical medical since 2003. All femalesamples eliminated ovulation failure, endometriosis, chromosomalabnormality, reproductive organ deformity induced by endocrinefactors. Their leukorrheal routine examination are normal, and they allhad no tuberculosis infection as well as gonococcal infection. All malesamples had normal routine examination of semen. The control groupwas 119 couples who attended in the health examination at the sameperiod. All samples had not used any antibiotic by the latest month. This study analyzed data by SPSS statistics software, and it wasjudged to have significant difference by P<0.05 by using χ2 test. The result showed that the positive rate of CT,UU and mixedinfection in infertile groups significantly higher than in the controlgroup(P<0.01,P<0.01,P<0.05), and it indicated that the infection ofUU and CT is an important factor in infertility. The positive rate ofCT,UU and mixed infection between the primary infertile andsecondary infertile showed no significant difference(P>0.05), and itindicated the infection of CT and UU was an important factor in bothprimary infertility and secondary infertility. The infection of CT andUU between the infected couples exists dependability, sosimultaneous treatment should be carried out on both male and female. No significant difference in CT,UU and mixed infection positive ratein sterile women at distinct ages among child-bearing period(P>0.05),and it indicated that the probability of infected by CT or UU hadnothing to do with age in sterile women at distinct ages amongchild-bearing period.Above in all, the infection of CT and UU is a correlation factor ininfertility, and it impacts on primary infertile or secondary infertilesignificantly, furthermore, the infection between the sterile couplesexists dependability, so it is necessary to make UU and CT test ininfertile women. This article demonstrated the necessity to make UUand CT test in sterile women at distinct ages among child-bearingperiod through analyzing relevant data, and suggested thatsimultaneous treatment should be carried out on both male and female.
