To explore the biological features of prostate cancer andanalysis the relationship between Ki-67,c-erbB-2,nm23 andAR respectively. We studied paraffin sections from 83 casesof male patients in my hospital during 11 years,(agerange:48-81 years ,median age:66 years) and the other 30cases in Kobe university from Japan. the expressions of ki-67,c-erbB-2, nm23, using immunochemistry respectively.According to the classification of WHO and Gleason, ourstudy included 101cases: G<7, 19 cases with moderategrade;G=7, 12 cases between moderate and high grade;G>7, 60 cases with high gradeTherewere10.35%,22.72%,58.33% cases (G<7,G=7,G>7)positiverespectivelyforKi-67and10.53%,18.18%,48.33%cases (G<7,G=7,G>7) positive for C-erbB-2. For nm23expression was 36.84%, 45.45% , 73.33% cases(G<7,G=7,G>7). AR(+), the expression forKi-67 was 30.19%;AR(-), it was 54.17%.These results suggested that (1) Prostate cancer was ahigh aggressive carcinoma. Approximately, 81.69% in our101cases was over Gleason 8.(2)There were obviousrelationships among the expression of Ki-67,c-erbB-2, nm23and Gleason grade. All p<0.05, So we could say that Ki-67,c-erbB-2, nm23 are reliable parameters for prognosisprostate cancer. (3) The expression of Ki-67 in AR (-) washigher than that of in AR (+), there were genes changes inprostate cancer.
