Investigation On Clinical Effect Of Rebamipide On Chronic Erosive Gastritis

Objective To investigate the clinical effect of Rebamipide on chronic erosive gastritis including individual symptom, endoscopic gastric mucosal lesions , gastric mucosal histopathological classification.Methods 75 patients with chronic erosive gastritis by gastroscopy were divided into 2 groups. 45 cases in the treatment group were given drug Rebamipide orally, 0.1mg each time, 3 times a day. 30 cases in the control group were given drug Sucralfate orally, 1. Og each time, 3 times a day. Both groups were treated for 8 successive weeks. Individual symptom was observed before , in the period of , after the treatment. Gastroscopic and histopathological examination was done before and after the treatment.Results 8 weeks after the treatment, clinical symptom improved obviously in the Rebamipide group compared with the Sucralfate group. Meanwhile extent of endoscopic gastric mucosal lesions depressed significantly after the treatment, and that of chronic inflammation and active inflammation did respectively.Conclusion Rebamipide is effective for chronic erosive gastritis including individual symptom, endoscopic gastric mucosal lesions, gastric mucosal histopathological classification...
