Objective: To appraise the efficiency of lowering blood lipids of black currant ,and to offer basis for further utilization of black currant. Methods: According to the procedures and methods of Appraise Procedure of Health Food Function , to appraise the efficiency of lowering blood lipids of black currant raw juice which is produced in Xinjiang. Animal's experiment adopted the preventative model of hyrerlipidemia, intervened with black currant raw juice while the model of hyrerlipidemia is setting up, lasting 14 days in succession. Determining serum Triglyceride (TG ) , Cholesterol (TC ) , High density lipoprotein cholesterol (HDL- C ) after for 12 hours of empty stomach, observing the change trend of weight, calculating the artery sclerosis index (AI ), cardiovascular disease index LDL-C/HDL-C. To choose 52 hyrerlipidemia patients at random who have no other illness, taking black currant juice 80ml / day. 30 days later, reexamining liver, kidney function, blood lipids and apolipoprotein, calculating AI , LDL-C/HDL-C and contrasting their change.
