Under the environment of global market and market economy, along withthe foundation of modern medical system and the homogeneity of medicalentitative resource such as technology and money among medical serviceinstitutions, more and more medical service institutions recognize thatthe competitive focus should transfer from the material taches andtechnology problems, producing, providing and marketing service, to someprocess facts such as organization structure and operation system. Anymedical service institution has the particular, facing the improving ofsufferers' satisfaction, keeping innovating and transforming processtechnology, and such a strongly capacity of process management, it willkeep creating the continuable advantages.This thesis researched the application of the process management ideain medical service institution by the numbers. Through dissertating thedevelopment of process theory, the meaning and the classification ofprocess, the thesis discussed the meaning and the theory of processmanagement for medical service institution in detail. Aiming at how toapply the process management idea in medical service institution, thepaper established the model of methodology. Based on analyzing the stepsof carrying on process management, the thesis discussed the organizationmodel and the bound. Besides, the paper expanded to the study ofinter-organization process management level. Contraposing to theactuality that the process starving for improving in medical serviceinstitution, the thesis put forward the thought of process improvement,the improving measures for special processes and the case analysis foractual study. Finally, the thesis brought forward the notices andsuggestions for process management in medical service institution.
