Objecti ves: To study the relationships between Interleukin-6 (IL-6) and colorectal cancer, and its role of colorectal cancer development Methods: Using ELISA method and ABC immunohistochestry 40 case of colorectal cancer patients, whose local lesions were resected, were selected. 30 case of health as control The preoperative , postoprativeld, 7d serum IL-6 levels were measured .cancer center, normal colorectal mucous IL-6 levels were measured.Results: Median IL-6 level was significantly higher in patients with colorectal cancer than in normal controls. Postoperativeld is the highest preoperative is higher. Postoperative 7d lower than these tow .normal control is the lowest.IL-6 could detective in all the cancer tissue .only 2.5% case of normal colorectal mucous are detectived. Conclusions: IL-6 maybe important patienters reflecting the biologicalbehaviour and prognosis of colorectal cancer.
