Clinical And Experimental Study Of Xuezhikang In Treating Hyperlipemia And Its Endothelium-protecting Effect

Objective: To observe the effect of Xuezhikang(XZK) in treating hyperlipemia and its endothelium-protecting effect, and provide scientific proof for its clinical application and development. Methods: Clinical effect: 40 cases of hyperlipemia patients were divided randomly into 2 groups: Group A(XZK group), Group B(Lovastatin group). To observe the changes of clinical symptoms, blood lipid , secretion function of vascular endothelium and endothelium-dependent relaxing function of brachial artery. 2. Experiment research: 32 mice were divided into 3 groups: control group, modle group, XZK group. To observe blood lipid, secretion function of vascular endothelium. Results: Clinical effect: After 50 days of treatment, clinical symptoms improved in two groups, and there is no difference between two groups. TC and other laboratory indexes reduced remarkably in two groups. 2. Experiment research: XZK can reduce TC, TG, ET, develop NO. Conclusion: XZK has such merits: confirmative lipid-reducing effect, relieving clinical symptoms remarkably and safely, protecting vascular endothelium. It is deserved to be spread and applied.
