Clinical Study Of Convalescent Stroke Treated With Chinese Drugs Of Tonifying Kidney, Detoxicating And Activating Blood

Objective: To study the curative effect of convalescent stroke treated with Chinese drugs of tonifying kidney, detoxicating and activating blood, and to discuss the mechanism of this therapy. Methods: 60 cases were divided into 2 groups at random, 30 cases in treatment group and 30 cases in control group. Chinese drugs of tonifying kidney, detoxicating and activating blood and routine western medicine were administrated to the cases of treatment group. Routine western medicine were administrated to the cases of control group. Changes of clinical symptoms, signs, improved degree of deficiency of nervous system function and lab indes were detected before and after treatment. Results: A month later, we found that total effective rate of treatment group was 93.3%,compared with control group, there are predominant difference (P<0.05) .The reduced score of deficiency of nervous system function in treatment group were higher than in control group (P<0.05) .At the same time, we found this therapy can lower Tch,TG,LDL-C,ET,TXB2, and improve HDL-C,6-keto-PGF1a ,NO, compared with control group, there were predominant differences (P<0.05) except for Teh (P>0.05). Conclusion: The method of tonifying kidney, detoxicating and activating blood applied to treat convalescent stroke, was testified to be effective.
