Investigation And Analysis Of Health Care Consciousness And Health Knowledge Demand Of Field Officers At Frontier Defence In Some War Zone

This project is the branch of 'Research and Reform of Sanitation System and Health Officer Mode of Field Army', which belongs to "the Military Tenth Five-Year Plan" Subject, the research domain is health promotion. Sinkiang is in the northwest of China with special geographic situation and abominable climatic condition, which has the longest borderline that more than 5,300 kilometers and borders on eight countries. The health promotion work of frontier defence army in Sinkiang is carried into effect difficultly because the army is dispersed in so many spots, too long lines and quite wide areas. In order to improve mode and method of health promotion, increase self-health ability and enhance battle effectiveness, the health promotion actuality of the field army officers in Sinkiang frontier defence army was investigated, aimed at the characteristics mentioned above.The research was developed in accordance with the theories of social medicine and army epidemiology, combined with the speciality of characters and tasks of Sinkiang army. The applied methods were mainly consisted of literature review, questionnaire investigate, specialist interview, informal discussion and locale survey.There are some main conclusions could be drawn from the project. 1. The new characteristics had presented in the health knowledge demand of basic officer. 2. The investigated persons widely knew the importance of health and self-health care, with some certain consciousness of self-health care. But it was not accordant of 'know'; 'trust' and 'action', and most people couldn't establish the healthy behavior mode. 3. The results of investigation showed that the SCL-90 point of basic officers was 144.85±49.86, the average points of SCL-90 factors were between 1.31 and 1.84, the symptomatic ratio of each factors were between 1.0% and 6.7%, there were 287 cases exceed middle level, which were 27.8 percent of total people. The figures was much higher in correlative investigation in recent years, which indicated the mentality health problems of field army officers in frontier defence were much serious. 4. With informal discussion and personal interview of health education operators and students in two military command academy, there were so many problems had been found. For...
