Effects Of Tang Xing Kang On Ages Of Diabetic Mellitus Rats

The diabetogeneous myocardiopathy is one of the diabetic mellitus chronic complications. With the development of the disease, the patients may have cardiac dysfuction, myocardium, hypertrophy, heart dilation and induce heart failure in later period. The relationship of myocardial damage and myocardial apoptosis has not been reported all over the world. In this experiment, the model rats were established by STZ and hyper-calorie diet. We studied the model in glucose metabolism , fat metabolism , myocardium histomorphology and advanced glycated end products and we also discuss the mechanism of Tangxinkang treating the diabetic myocardial damage.The results show that : (1)The clone of myocardial damage models of diabetic rats has been made successfully. (2) TangXinkang has good effects in decreasing glucose and fat in blood and reducing myocardial change in histomorphology. (3))Tangxinkang can adjust advanced glycated end products and reduce myocardial damage.The results above not only provide objective basis of Traditional Chinese Medicine preventing and treating diabetogeneous myocardiopathy, but also reveal it genesis mechanism.
