Research On Correlation Of Serum Level Of Interleukin-10 And Interleukin-18 And Cardiac Remodeling In Viral Myocarditis Children

[Objective] In our study, we measured the serum level of interleukin-10 (IL-10) ,interleukin-18 (IL-18) of Viral myocarditis's children and change of the heart fuction in these patients, analysed the correlation between the serum level of IL-10,IL-18 and the change of cardiac function and cardiac remodeling. [Method] 1 .All cases were selected from the patients in the Cardiology Dept. of Tianjin Children's hospital and diagnosed by the Criterion of Children Viral Myocarditis which was revised on the National Academic Conference of Children Viral Myocarditis and Cardiomyopathy in Sep. 1999. the cases of control groop which had normal blood Rt. and ECG and had no deviation in the age and sex were selected from the patients in the pervent surgery. 2.We adopted the ELISA method to measure the content of IL-10 and IL-18 in the patients of 25 cases of contrast group and 72 cases of patient group, the patient group was divided into three groups which were named non-heart failure group, heart failure group and cardiogenic shock group. And we also divided the patient group into two groups which named cardiac dilatation group and non-cardiac dilatation group according UCG 3.We applied the Pillip Sonos 5500 type Echocardiogram to measured the left ventricular fractional shortening(LVFS), ejection fraction (EF), left atrium inner diameter , left ventricular end diastolic inner diameter (LVEDD)and left ventricular end systolic inner diameter(LVESD) in patient group, descripted the shape and function change of their heart. 4.We analysised all the datum with SPSS 11.5 For Windows.[Result] 1.The serum level of IL-10 and IL-18 in Patient's group is higher than the contrast group (p<0.01); the serum level of IL-10 and IL-18 in heart failure group,non-heart failure group and shock group's are all higher than non-heart failure group (p<0.01). the The serum level of IL-10 in dilatation group is higher than non-cardiac dilatation group(p<0.05). 2. Comparing with the non-heartfailure group and heart failure group, the LAD and LVESD in shock group are larger than the other two groups(p<0.05),between heart group and non-heart failure group there has no statistical significantly difference in these two parameter(p>0.05 );there have no statistical significantly difference of LVEDD in the three groups(p=0.09>0.05 ). there have statistical significantly difference of other abnormality in these three groups such as cardiac dilatation, valve reflu, hydropericardium,abnormal LVFS and EF etc. 4.There are one kind of positive rank correlation between IL-10, IL-18and the group according the patients condition which named non-heart failure group, heart failure group and shock group(p<0.05);there is one kind of positive rank correlation between the serum level of IL-10 and heart dilatation(p<0.05).
