Clinical And Experimental Study On AnShen Jiang Ya Mixture In Treating Hypertension With Anxiety

By using the way of traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) thought, this article explores deeply the cause and mechanism, principle and method of therapy of hypertension from three aspects: theory, clinic and experiment, so as to find the effective recipe of ereating. The article indicated that evil heat in heart and liver was one basic pathomechanism trait in anxiety Essential Hypertension (EH). So as to regard purging liver and tranquilizing heart as principle of therapy. Accordingly, the AnShenJiangYa(ASJY) mixture is made by using modern process. 40 anxiety EH patients were treated by taking ASJY mixture, meanwhile, another 40 anxiety EH patients were treated by taking calculus bovis blood pressure-reducing bolus comparely as control. Results showed: ASJY mixture group got 52.50% prominent effective rate in blood pressure-reducing, with a total effective rate of 90.00%, which was prior to the control evidently (P<0.05). Furthermore, ASJY mixture group was prior to the control evidently (P<0.01) in improving the symptoms of whole body. Besides, ASJY mixture can reduce blood-lipid and blood viscosity, NE, E, AT-â…¡ and ET. The results of experiment with animals showed that the ASJY mixture can lower notably the SHR blood pressure(P<0.05~0.01); at the same time it can reduce NE, E, AT-â…¡, PRA and ET. The virulent experiment showed that ASJY mixture is safe and non-poisonous. To sum up,the advocated pathoqenesis and treating method in article are consistent with clinical experiences. ASJY mixture is indeed efficacious for the disease and the improvement to relevant symptoms is closely connected with adjusting the level of NE, E, AT-â…¡ and ET.
