| Objective: To study the effect on malignant tumor with huoxuehuayufang (abbreviated as hxhyf), and discuss its mechanism.Methods: Through animal experiment we observed the hxhyf 's effect on mice with transplanted liver cancer(H22),especially to observe the effect on the weight of the mice and the tumor-inhibiting.we detected the cytoxicity of hxhyf serum on PG cell strain of human lung cancer with MTT,and detected cell cycle,apoptosis peak,bcl-2 and p53 with flow cytometry after 48 hour. Result: Animal experiment showed the inhibition rate of hxhyf on H22 were significantly and it could enhance the weight of the mice. The hxhyf serum could inhibit proliferation of PG through inducing apoptosis .we found the cells were inhibited in S stage ,and it could reduce the expression of bcl-2 and enhance the expression of p53.Conclusion: hxhyf was an effective formula in treating malignant tumor, and deserved to applied and researched.
