Objective To study the clinical features of CVB infection in childhood asthma. Methods Ninety-six cases of 1999.1-2003.1 hospitalization of with asthma attack, detected the markers of CVB. 46 cases had positive of markers of CVB, and 50 cases had the negative of markers. All cases were corresponded to the standard of diagnosis of childhood asthma. To analyze the clinical symptoms, physical signs, the duration of physical, the check of laboratory, and atopy history. Results 1.The infection incidence of CVB was 47.9%. 2. The asthma children with positive CVB markers more often presented with fever, diarrhea and skin rash, there were statistically significant difference compared with the negative CVB(P<0.05). 3. The duration of fever, pursiness and wheezing rales in the positive CVB was longer than the negative CVB, there was statistically significant difference (P<0.05).4.The blood routine and the atopy history had no statistically significant difference between two groups(P>0.05).5. There was no significant difference in the clinical score between two groups (P>0.05). Conclusions 1.There are high CVB infection incidence in children with asthma attack. 2.CVB obviously affect the clinical course of asthma children. It is significant there are more simultaneous phenomenon, the physical signs during asthma attack relieve slowly.
