| Objective To investigate the present condition of my hospital in the treatment of foot gangrene caused by diabetes mellitus and the clinial characteristics of the different type foot gangrene caused by diabetes mellitus. Methods 156 Case with Foot Gangrene Caused by Diabetes Mellitus were classified into the nerve ulcer, ischemic ulcer and nerve-ischemic ulcer according to the cause of disease;Were classified into the wet gangrene, dry gangrene and composite gangrene according to the property of the gangrene; Were classified into 5 classes of 1~5 according to the Wagner ratings method.Adopt the method associating the traditional Chinese with western medicine and the whole with the part in the treatment. Results The cure rate of the nerve ulcer, ischemic ulcer, nerve-ischemic ulcer was respectively 56.0%, 0, 23.9%; The cure rate of the wet gangrene, dry gangrene, composite gangrene was respectively 48.5%, 22.6%, 27.3%; The cure rate of 1~5 class was respectively 100%, 61.8%, 40.6%, 24.2%, 6.7%. The overall cure rate was 40.4%, the rate of amputation was 15.4%,and the mortality was 4.5%. Conclusions The therapeutic effect of the comprehensive therapy associating the traditional Chinese with western medicine and combining inside with outside which my hospital adopt to treat foot gangrene caused by diabetes mellitus is reliable.There is a decline in the therapeutic effect with the serious degree of limb ischemia or the serious degree of the partial gangrene. |
