Objectives: To evaluate the effect of Tongfuxiezhuo therapy for chronic nal failure by comparing the changes of clinical symptoms and the relevant ochemical indexes of the patients after their complete therapy, in addition, try to judge if the therapy of Tongfuxiezhuo was better than the therapy Bushen for CRF through comparing the different effect between the two ways, at' s more we try to find out the effect of the therapy of Tongfuxiezhuo r CRF maybe work by its effect on Blood fattiness, Oxygen free radicals and F-a.Methods: 60 patients were divided randomly to two groups named treated oup (R1) and control group (R2), the former group was composed of 40 cases d the latter 20 cases. Both groups were treated by the same basic western dicine, in addition, the treated group was treated with Tongfuxiezhuo lerapy, while the control group was treated with Bushen therapy . One decoction day and the course of treatment was sixty days. We observed the changes of e integral calculus of symptom and the biochemical indexes that including r, Ccr, TG, TC, LDL, SOD, LPO, GSH-PX and TNF- α and judged the different effect the two groups by comparing the above indexes.Results:1. The overall effective rate of Rl is much higher than that of R2 after erapy, and the difference between them is significant (P<0. 01).2. The integral calculus of symptom and physical signs has been evidently (?)duced in both groups after therapy (P<0. 01). But the changes of Rl are more gnifleant than R2 (P<0.01).
