Objective: To evaluate the effects of surgical treatment for concealed penis from 40 children cases. Method: According to the different pathological behavior of the patients, different operation styles were applied. To the patients with inelastic dartos fascia, the dartos and suprapubic fat pad were resected and dermodesis of root of the penis were applied. The suspensory ligament of the penis must be divided to the severe patients. To the patients with suprapubic fat pad thickening, the orifices of the prepuces were slited and sutured transversely. The dartos resection were not applied. Transfer of pedicle skin flap of scrotum was applied to the patients after circumcision. Result: Incisions of all 40 patients were primary healing. No transparent complications were found. The longth of the penises was extended about 2-3 cm. Two recurrent patients were received the second operation and were cured. The elongation of penises of 3 patients was not satisfactory. The total rate of effect was 92.5%. Conclusion: The surgical intervention can effectively treat concealed penis and transparently extend the longth. At the same time, the operation ameliorate the symptom of miction and appearance of the penis.
